A BIG thank-you to Gnome over at his Lair for his constant updates of the statuses of indie releases; where he finds the time is a mystery worthy of a text adventure game to solve. At any rate, it appears that part four of the King’s Quest inspired game, The Silver Lining, has arrived. King’s Quest was once the sales juggernaut that ruled the gamerverse, but now has been relegated to retrogamers and game historians. Seeing its resurgence in the hands of those who clearly love the original Daventry mythos is wonderful. If you’ve missed the adventurous antics of King Graham and his family, this game may be for you, and you can check it out HERE.

Wow, what great news — I’ll be checking this out tonight for sure! I’ve been wanting to get my son into the King’s Quest games (I grew up playing them, of course) but … eh, DOSBox and all. Perhaps the two of us will start playing this one together!
Thank you so much for the kind words wise sir.
